Surface and Source Water Tools
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has developed and supported the use of tools to assess, protect, manage, and improve the water quality of surface and source waters (i.e., those used for drinking water and their contributing areas). The EPA also facilitates access to other relevant tools that can assist with modeling nutrient sources and loads in particular river basins and addressing soil and water conservation needs.
