Workshop co-sponsors EPA Region 9 and the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe are inviting Tribal water quality/resource staff to attend the EPA Region 9 2025 Tribal Clean Water Act (CWA) workshop in Fallon, Nevada, also known as “the Oasis of Nevada.” Attendees will gather in-person to share knowledge, resources, and experiences to better implement Tribal CWA programs and to protect Tribal water resources for future generations.

To minimize costs, there will not be a registration fee to attend this workshop, however registration is required to attend.

Workshop Information
- Workshop Registration is currently open to Tribes across Region 9.
- Due to field trip components, a virtual or hybrid option is not included.
- Capacity is limited to 150 participants.

Nearest airport is Reno-Tahoe International Airport, located approximately 60 miles from Fallon, Nevada. Travel assistance from EPA will not be available for this workshop.

Preparation
This workshop includes a classroom style component at the Fallon Convention Center, as well as field trips by charter buses. Field Trip participants should be prepared to be outside most of the day and able to walk on uneven ground. Prepare for field trips appropriately by bringing sun protection, water bottles, hat, rain gear, rugged footwear, etc.
