Grants for Water Research

EPA funds extramural research through several research programs that help engage top research scientists and students and produce results that contribute to a strong scientific foundation for supporting the Agency’s mission of protecting human health and the environment.

As part of these programs, EPA funds water research grants. These grants support the science necessary to develop sustainable solutions to 21st century water resource problems, ensuring water quality and availability in order to protect human and ecosystem health.
