ORD Meetings with States and Regions

EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) regularly hosts meetings with EPA Regions and states. These meetings provide an opportunity for EPA to hear directly from our state partners about their most pressing environmental challenges and related science needs, and to provide them with updates on relevant EPA research. The goal is to help EPA learn “what is keeping the state environmental/environmental health leaders up at night” – and to identify opportunities for collaboration on scientific needs and to provide a forum to inform ORD’s research agenda.

In addition to hosting states at EPA labs and facilities, ORD visits state environmental and public health labs to better understand state lab resources and identify opportunities to partner with them.
