2020-2022 Air Emissions Modeling Platforms
Several emission modeling platforms were created based on the emissions in the 2020 National Emissions Inventory. These emissions modeling platforms support the development of emissions inputs for air quality modeling. The platforms were created to support the development of a product for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), AirToxScreen, and other applications. The 2022 emissions modeling platform is a product of the National Emissions Inventory Collaborative, which represents a collaboration between employees of state and regional air agencies, EPA, and Federal Land Management agencies. The following links describe each of the individual modeling platforms and include the inventories, ancillary data, and scripts required to process the emissions.
