Grower Priority Database
The U.S. Grower MRL Priority Database is designed to be a tool for U.S. grower groups to identify and communicate their MRL needs in major export markets to registrants and government agencies. It is funded by a USDA Technical Assistance for Specialty Crop (TASC) Grant with additional support from the Minor Crop Farmers Alliance. The goal of the database is to provide information on U.S. grower MRL needs abroad.
- Growers can enter MRL priorities for each market and can make comments on needs.
- Registrants can review grower priorities and add their own comments.
The database is searchable by country, active ingredient, commodity group, and priority level. The system has been streamlined to make entering priorities easy.
Currently, the database allows growers to identify priorities for Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Canada, Codex and in 2016, the European Union was added to the database. All grower groups are strongly encouraged to enter their priorities.
