Public Notice: Trial Burn for Incineration of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) At Veolia Es Technical Solutions, L.L.C., Jefferson County, Texas
Summary
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 office in Dallas, Texas is hereby notifying of the plan to conduct a PCB Trial Burn for an incinerator at Veolia Environmental Services Technical Solutions, L.L.C., Port Arthur, Texas. The facility is authorized to dispose of liquid and nonliquid PCBs by high temperature incineration in its onsite rotary kiln incinerator and to store PCB wastes for commercial purposes. EPA has the authority to issue approvals for commercial storage and disposal of PCBs by incineration under Section 6 (e) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) in accordance with regulations promulgated pursuant to 40 CFR 761.65 and 40 CFR 761.70 respectively.
