2019 NPDES General Permits for Aquaculture Facilities in Idaho
Below are EPA's 2019 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) general permits and supporting documents for aquaculture facilities in Idaho (excluding facilities in the Upper Snake-Rock subbasin).
- Permit numbers: IDG131000 & IDG133000
- Effective date: December 1, 2019
- Permits expire: November 30, 2024
Note: When these permits were reissued, EPA separated discharges from aquaculture facilities located in Indian Country under a separate general permit number (IDG133000) from the pre-existing permit number (IDG131000), which now covers only discharges to state waters. This change facilitated the transfer of IDG131000 to Idaho in 2020 as part of the phased implementation of Idaho’s administration of the NPDES Program. EPA remains the permitting authority for IDG133000.
