Answer: A certified renovator seeking to use an EPA-recognized lead test kit for RRP purposes must be able to use the lead test kit, and interpret the results, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. A person who is unable to accurately use the product due to some disability cannot, and should not, rely on any results for RRP purposes.
