Inert Ingredients - Reassessment Decision Documents: B
This table lists completed inert ingredient tolerance reassessment decision documents. A decision document includes the risk assessment and the decision memorandum. Some documents pertain to more than one chemical.
Specific questions or accessibility issues on the following decision documents should be forwarded to PV Shah ([email protected]) of the Inert Ingredient Assessment Branch.

The content of each column in the Tolerance Reassessment Status table is described below:
Inert Ingredient
The inert ingredient’s name as it appears in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
CAS Reg. No. and Name
The inert ingredient’s CAS Registry Number is the unique identification number that the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) has assigned to the chemical substance.
Chemical substances often have multiple names. In addition to the inert ingredient’s name that appears in the CFR, EPA utilizes the CAS 9th Collective Index Name, which is the systematic chemical name associated with the CAS Registry Number.
Decision Documents
Reassessment decision documents for each inert ingredient are provided here. A decision document includes the risk assessments and the decision memo. Please note that several inert ingredients may be grouped in a document.
Reassessed Date
The date the decision memo was signed and the inert ingredient completed tolerance reassessment.
CFR Citations
How each inert ingredient may be legally used in food-use pesticide products is described in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). Up-to-date CFR citations are found at U.S. Government Printing Office website.
