Natural Gas and Petroleum Systems in the GHG Inventory: Additional Information on the 1990-2016 GHG Inventory (published April 2018)
As part of the annual process to develop the U.S. Inventory of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks (GHG Inventory), the EPA assessed new data for updates to its estimates for natural gas and petroleum systems. The EPA updated its estimates for petroleum and natural gas systems in the exploration, production, processing, transmission and storage, and distribution segments.
