(09/30/03) EPA and more than100 U.S. cities are launching expanded Air Quality Index forecasts - Sound bites with an EPA spokesperson, U.S. Surgeon General and health professional, and B-Roll available
- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will begin expanded Air Quality Index forecasting today, which will now include an additional pollutant – particles – as well as ozone. Particle pollution affects additional groups of people and is a health concern year-round.
