I am pleased that the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee today sent to the full Senate the nominations of Linda Fisher as Deputy Administrator and Steve Johnson as Assistant Administrator for Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances.
The EPA’s mission of protecting human health and our environment is crucial. Certainly assembling a team that includes people with the experience and knowledge that these individuals possess is an integral part of taking action to meet that mission. I look forward to all of our nominations moving forward so the important work we have before us can benefit from their talent.
