"The Environmental Protection Agency commends the South Coast AQMD, NRDC, Coalition for Clean Air and CBE for reaching agreement and moving forward on a crucial public health threat facing Southern California.  With the logjam broken, we can all get out of the courtroom and devote more energy to the business of cleaning the air.  The approvable clean air plan adopted today by the South Coast board represents a huge step toward a healthier future.  We now have a good road map in place and can all concentrate our efforts on developing and adopting clean air programs that will help the region innovate in reducing air toxics and meet the ozone health standard in 2010."
