The EDSTAC was established to implement the provisions of Food Quality Protection Act and the amendments to the SDWA to provide EPA with recommendations on screening and testing protocols for chemicals suspected of endocrine disruption. Committee members represent a broad spectrum of interests, including government, industry, academia, public health and environmental groups.
