EPA Awards Bronze Medal to Las Vegas Resident

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has honored Bruce Jones, chief of the landscape ecology branch located on the University of Nevada campus in Las Vegas, Nev.
Jones, who has worked at the EPA for 11 years, was recognized for his contribution in developing innovative techniques for assessing environmental data.
"Bruce deserves applause for his hard work. Thanks to him, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA’s mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
