EPA, Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, and Hamden Town Officials to Host a Newhall Street Neighborhood Open House

HAMDEN, Conn. – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and Hamden town officials are hosting an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Hamden Middle School.
At the open house, EPA will discuss the upcoming soil removal work to address ten properties which were identified during the April surface soil investigation and answer questions about the construction schedule, work hours, truck traffic and the impact to the local neighborhood.
Representatives from the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the Quinnipiac Valley Health District will also be on hand for the open house. Neighborhood residents are encouraged to attend.
