EPA Awards Bronze Medal to Two Philadelphia Residents

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded a bronze medal to David Sternberg and Angela McFadden for distinguished service.
Sternberg and McFadden, who both live in the Fairmount section of the city, were recognized for their contribution in developing an innovative investigation technique used nationally in the pulp industry.
McFadden is an environmental engineer with the Air Protection Division and has worked for the EPA for 14 years.
Sternberg is a public affairs specialist and has worked for the EPA for eight years.
"David and Angela deserve applause for their hard work. Thanks to them, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA’s mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
