EPA-USDA TOLERANCE REASSESSMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING
The second meeting of the EPA-USDA Tolerance Reassessment Advisory Committee (TRAC) will be held on June 22-23 at the International Trade Center - Conference Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. (telephone: 202-312-1300; fax: 202-312-1310). TRAC was established in April 1998, as a subcommittee under the EPA National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology, to provide EPA and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) with guidance on implementing the 1996 Food Quality Protection Act. The committee will meet from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, June 22, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23. All meetings are open to the public and both written and oral statements are welcome. The TRAC is currently scheduled to hold two more meetings, July 13-14, and July 27-28.
