EPA to Honor TDK Components USA, Inc., in Peachtree City for Environmental Performance

(ATLANTA – August 18, 2008) On Tuesday, EPA Regional Administrator Jimmy Palmer will recognize TDK Components USA, Inc., in Peachtree City, Ga., as a recipient of the 2008 Performance Track Environmental Performance Award. TDK is one of two companies in the southeast and just five nationwide to receive the award.
What: EPA to honor TDK with a Performance Track Environmental Performance Award. The program will include a lunch and a tour of TDK’s manufacturing facility that produces multi-layer ceramic chip capacitors.
Who: EPA Region 4 Regional Administrator Jimmy Palmer; Marlin Gottschalk, Acting Director of the Pollution Prevention Assistance Division at Georgia Department of Natural Resources; Georgia State Representative Matt Ramsey; Masatoshi Fujimoto, TDK President; Masaaki Taniguchi, TDK Plant Manager; and Ken Takekawa, TDK Production Director.
