EPA awards over $50,000 to University of Tulsa for healthier indoor air

(Dallas, Texas – April 4, 2007) The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $52,758 to the University of Tulsa for its Tulsa Indoor Air Program. The University will use the funds to assist the Austin Independent School District in implementing the Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools program which will impact approximately 42,000 students, teachers, and support staff. The program seeks to provide a healthier indoor environment by reducing indoor environmental triggers, improving ventilation, and reducing the sources of indoor pollutants.
