EPA Awards Over $300,000 to the City of Albuquerque

(Dallas, Texas – January 8, 2008) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $397,209 to the City of Albuquerque. This grant will fund the city's continuing air pollution prevention and control program and allow them to complete a special ENERGY STAR project. The city expects to maintain national ambient air quality standards and reduce air toxics emissions.
