Resource Guide for Air Sensors and Related Educational Activities
Air sensor technologies provide many opportunities for educational enrichment on topics ranging from air quality, pollution sources, and the sensors themselves. Seeing power in the ability of sensors to make air pollution visible and widespread interest in making air sensors more available to the public, EPA’s Office of Research and Development began partnerships in 2019 with EPA Regions 5, 9, and 10 and local organizations to establish pilot Air Sensor Loan Programs. This resource guide was created to support those programs and allow for easy access to additional resources should the partners, or the public, have interest in more background information or educational activities.
Although the air sensor loan programs, educational activities, and curriculum provided by EPA are useful resources, we recognize that there are other publicly available resources. If you have a suggestion on a resource to share, please use the Contact Us link.
